I'm still questioning as to why the Zondo Commission never compelled Zuma in accordance with their mandate. Dog and pony show as far as I am concerned nowadays.

Well, they did start compelling him, and then he called in sick. And now he's flown to Cuba. Kark funny if you ask me.

Think about it. The "Chief" of Nkandla is now running away to Cuba to avoid prosecution.

And the rest of us, the taxpayers, wish him dead.

Apologies for shouting, BUT THINK ABOUT THIS.

If true, Zuma did not leave the country without being noticed. He has a load of security. He doesn't just rock up at an airport and take economy class to Cuba.

This is a negotiated political settlement. So that he doesn't end up in jail.

A MONSTER win for Cyril Ramaphosa

eish ... quantity is not the same as quality, you make that point by highlighting the US's massive healthcare spend, and yet you don't seem to understand that the same can be said for Cuba that produces the most doctors

if they're all shyte, what does it matter how many of them they have?

and to Splinter's point, perhaps do a bit of research yourself, we've been importing Cuban doctors for a while, the results have not been good

The contention was made that "No ways Cuba has the medical expertise.". I provided Cuba's medical expertise in context of the world's healthcare systems in opposition to the assertion - that's all.

Dude, you ignored what I was saying, and then defended Cuba to the hilt. Of course, now I see that you say you are just a resident. A resident from Cuba, by any chance?

US Resident.

What exactly was wrong with the Cuban doctors in SA?

The party's national spokesperson, Pule Mabe, told journalists on the sidelines of the last national executive committee (NEC) meeting of the year, taking place in Benoni on Sunday, the party had no knowledge of the news.

This being Pule Mabe, it's all a lie

US Resident.

For the third (or 4th) time, as I have said, I was talking as to poison expertise. You still haven't commented on this.

A naturalised US resident?

That is not how to compel works. To recall someone as a witness is standard procedure. They have the mandate to secure attendance and any evidence. Zondo should have never allowed the opportunity to have Zuma and his legal team collect themselves. The notice was correctly served to Zuma, and his legal team was allowed to argue the merits on the notice served... WHY? Weeks past and that matter should have been resolved within 2-4 weeks. Now we are here. No, they didn't compel Zuma, they served him, again, with a notice to provide testimony.

All the 'main' witnesses are Flight Risks... Secure their attendance.

how about the fact that we could train locals, locally, for less than it cost to import them?

or the fact that their training has been deemed insufficient?

Oh ok. Nothing like spending a Trillion Rand that SA does not have, to buy nuclear reactors though?

What has poison expertise have to do with general medical expertise and your original assertion?

You cannot be a naturalised US resident - naturalisation is for citizenship. I am an LPR.

Ok, time for me to leave this discussion. If you don't get how important this might be, as opposed to silly statements of executions, then there is nothing intelligent to debate anymore.

Read the bold above. And you are an LPR from where?
