now I do have questions, but I can't see our state create an entity to compete with an identical state entity because that would mean that the cadres, and more cadres, would also need to compete. I can only predict industrial espionage and sabotage to rise beyond any control.

I am quite sure that utility supplies wholly support this idea. I am also still sure that either Eskom or, now, a new entity might be a BIS initiative.

These aren’t solutions, it is trough streams.

How hard is it to just allow large scale generation above 1000MW.

This problem solves itself, government just has to get out of the way FFS. Eskom needs competition for sure, but it needs to be as far away from this government's control as possible.
