Hi there,

Has anyone used a local ancestry DNA service whose results are compatible with Gedmatch i.e. you can upload your results to the database. I'm not finding any here and very loath to use an international service due to courier costs etc.

The local services are twice as expensive.
I used MyHeritage.com (they also own geni.com) special offer two years ago.
Was about a grand, all in.

Have look, they often have specials.
It's our useless ZAR that screws us over.

On Geni.com their enter-level option now is $79.

I stumbled upon this this morning when trying to find the price of a blood test for my vitamin levels.

R1,999 seems really steep though
