This was discussed the other day. To sum it up, the ANCYL is a political organisation that is rapidly loosing ground. Even the ANC look at them with scorn. They are resorting to making one contraversial statement after another to get publicity, to try slow down their rapid fall into political oblivion.

Problem is that their new strategy seems to be working. Even here on MyADSL, every stupid remark they make seems to get 3 threads. People,
just start ignoring them and let them die. This applies to other dying political organisations such as the PAC as well

I do agree with your comment, but the problem may be to do with the way VB handles posts. Sometimes they just get put to the back of the 'new posts' list and get forgotten - especially with high posters.

I am going to do something out of character, because I think some of these fools that make these statements deserve it.
Why does the ANCYL and the ANC have to STEAL names to make it their own. Can you not MAKE your own cultural and world recognized monuments and signatures? It seems the ANC can only steal from other cultures because they have no culture that is noteworthy. Customs yes – and that is made up as you shower after raping a woman, so you limit AIDS.
Due to the actions of the ANCYL and the ANC I can only come to one conclusion. Previously designated disadvantaged people keep on struggling in their own reign because they have no own culture worth naming. Ask your leaders as they cannot get it going.
Why does the ANC not honor the real hero’s of African history. The Shacka Zulu’s, etc. Africa did not start existing when the ANC started.

I don't think anyone in Zim enjoys buying a loaf of bread with their own body weight in bank notes. White or black. There are a few Mugabe supporters out there, but once they have stolen everything they want, it will only be a matter of time before that too falls into disrepair and they have to look to someone else to save them

Not really. Mugabe enjoys loads of support in Zimbabwe. Remember, people do not blame Mugabe for their hardship in Zimbabwe, they blame the International community and the other "Enemies" of the state. It is a phenomenon present in every type of government you can imagine. If the people were anti Mugabe, he would have been overthrown a very long time ago.

This getting abit boring now... maybe the ANC should build some new landmarks and name it after their heros. Anyway the union buildings looks very western to me... i think the best way to make sure african people are not offended by them is to demolish it and recreate the area when king Tshwane ruled ... maybe some grass huts and a kraal for the presidents cows..
