Why is he telling this to the Public?

Are the public responsible for the biblical levels of looting at Eskom which put the public at the receiving end of said blackouts?

Well, 60% of the electorate chose Jacob Zuma, so yes.

This is what is going to happen eventually.

It seems to be part of the plan of action under the banner of helplessness.

During a media briefing on Tuesday, Eskom CEO André de Ruyter reminded South Africans what a total blackout of the electrical grid would mean.

If he illustrated any part of it in blackface he will be done for, surely?

What a total Eskom power blackout in South Africa would look like

During a media briefing on Tuesday, Eskom CEO André de Ruyter reminded South Africans what a total blackout of the electrical grid would mean.

The state-owned power utility announced a sudden increase to stage 4 load-shedding this morning after Majuba unit 5 and Tutuka unit 4 tripped.
Typical ANC, sugar coats the bad news by telling us it always could've been much worse, but meanwhile back in civilized countries that we only compare to when it doesn't make us look worse.

You'd think fixing things would be the solution. How this failure to course-correct has gone on for so long is mind boggling - the state lacks the competence to fix one of the most fundamental services in the country. The ANC & this bullshit 'democracy' that props them up all the time can gtfo.

The one guy I really have to give a bells to ironically is the guy who manages the grid in Germiston, I really do think he must be one really frustrated guy. I can see him already screaming on the phone to his collegues and him cursing alot, shame they is really nothing he can do, unlike a guy who was in the sofa making businesses

As soon as I see anything that Ted Blom is saying I know it's Bull. His credibility with me is gone.
Ted has been calling this every year since 2015 that we would be having a total blackout at any moment...

A clock is also right twice a day.

This needs to happen. Let the grid go down. It’s really the only thing that will spark the wake up call needed for South Africans to demand better for ourselves. We should not be accepting this, yet we do because we are limping along and that’s better than nothing. Let it implode. We need incentivised solar and renewable energy and IPP’s.

A black-start sounds like a repeat of the current fiasco, looting arrangement and jobs for the incompetent and excessive tally of anc cadre deployee schemes entrenched throughout this one efficient but now entirely rotten and anc infected outfit.

Wasn't he hired to make sure that didn't happen?
I think oaficially he was hired to split Eskom up - one big feeding trough into three smaller ones. He's just kindly helping out on the generation side :)
