My Broadband Please help me, this is my first post on this forum

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 running Android Nougat...nothing special. I decided to reset the phone just over a few weeks ago and since then my notifications looked all weird. When I first got my S8 the notifications would come through on cards...that pop up from the top that I could swipe to the side, now it comes up with this annoying bubble that I can't do anything about. I've added a screenshot of what it looked like (and how I actually want it) and how it currently is (Which is super annoying). I've even been on a live chat with samsung, they can't help so yeah...
Thanks in advance

You should be happy it shows a bubble and not those cards. I rooted my phone just to get rid of that stupid heads up notifications and replaced it with a bubble. No bloody privacy, as anyone standing with you can then see your Whatsapp chats coming through.

Tried resetting it multiple times now...nothing helps

Are you willing to try to update the OS yourself? That's what most of us do. Go to http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model and enter your phone model info, then it will show you links to the latest firmware. They will supply installation instructions, but it's easy. You basically load the firmware file into Odin (Samsung Windows app) which installs the firmware onto your phone. Usually takes a few minutes. I just updated my S7 a few days ago the same way.
