MyADSL Local (South African) Speed Test
Your current bandwidth reading is:

61.00kbps

Download time: 85.594 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 47.7 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 5.8 (kiloBytes/second)

If I may quote you "To answer your concerns regarding the current situation
with regards to My Wireless, we have identified the problem
causing the performance levels of the service supplied."

These are local speed tests!? I cannot be expected to pay for a 256k service Im sorry, everyday that goes by the more and more I am considering canceling my contract as this is not what I signed up for, how long does it take to fix a problem you yourself said they have isolated? Please tell me because nothing has been done nothing at all if I wanted 56k I would not be paying R849,00/month! I use this connection for business where I need the bandwidth, I am losing out because of a problem you guys know of , are aware of have isolated but cannot fix? I can say nothing more that each day is greeted with the same disappointment as the last and you guys are standing a pretty good chance of losing me as a customer and I know for a fact many other people are going to be taking this route. I know you are not the only party concerned but this does not seem a "code red" situation at al because you are still selling your packages to the unsuspecting public you have guys that get interviewed on radio representing your company and he was as inferior as the service being sold and the constant generic copy and paste mentality of the help desk does not help customer relations.

this is what will happen to this email at the call centre:

*ding* "You have 1 new email"

*click*

Orc: "Bla bla bla... another moaner... "

*click*

*choose standard response number 1224 - "It's being fixed"*

*send*

These guys don't read these emails. I've sent them SO many emails where I get so emotional in the email that my head wants to explode... and I get a copy and paste email back... it's pathetic...

His reply

Good day Richardo,

I have added your speed test information to the ticket send
for the rebate request to the department involved. I do not
have feedback as yet.

As for 'lead time', as I said in the last mail, we cannot
comment how long the situation will take to resolve, but
will comment that it is being attended to as we speak.

We ask to exercise patience, not that you have not so far,
as the fact remains that that as soon as we have any sort
of development, you will be notified.

Regards,

Vernon R. Nicholls
