Well I dont know if this has been talked about before, but is it possible that they are maybe giving 1 of the concurrent connections (of the 4 allowed for every account) to each user, thereby somehow cutting the costs?

How would this make it any cheaper if they're getting charged per gig anyway?

I don't use it, tho i made them forward it to may main gmail box, not that i get anymail from them except the monthly bill etc cause i haven't gotten very close to my cap. But uhm where is that other thread.. anyways they have a goodish reason tho.

saix .. tho saix shapped has been giving icky latency on a thursday for some reason. But yah pings to texas e.g. are 400ms so definately not sat based.

No, Cybersmart is on SAIX, and nowhere in that thread did anyone say they're on IS :cool:

saix .. tho saix shapped has been giving icky latency on a thursday for some reason. But yah pings to texas e.g. are 400ms so definately not sat based.

:confused: but i specifically asked if anyone knew of a good IS ISP, and OpenWeb came up? doesnt that imply that openweb is an IS reseller? :confused:
