President Jacob Zuma says that the nation-wide marches against widespread corruption that has taken hold of government under his leadership were racist, adding that racists have become more emboldened.

The president was speaking at a wreath laying ceremony commemorating the 24th anniversary of the murder of Chris Hani, who he said was a proponent of a non-racial society – a dream which South Africa had not yet realised, as evidenced by last week’s marches.

“The marches that took place last week demonstrated that racism is real and exists in our country.

The default response from anybody in the ANC when they try to justify their own corruption by shifting focus.

The cult following that Jacob Zuma has is almost admirable but Karma is probably already saying "I will shut that ***** down!" (say it in Negan's voice).

Yoh, our president reacts very poorly to criticism. He probably realises the problem is him and the Guptas but too reluctant to admit it in public. Racist card is his way of trying to save face.

The demonstrations proved that divisiveness is no longer something we as a society want or need to make S.A. great, and clearly that lack of divisiveness is not what the ANC want to see take hold, as it is the biggest threat to their hold on power.

And yet, look how long he's gotten away with his shenanigans. One has to wonder if he's stupid or really, really brainy...
I'm always surprised that people think Zuma is stupid. They probably also think that Rowan Atkinson is Mr Bean in real life.

He's not stupid. People that think he's stupid are actually the stupid ones. If you look at how he has set up his chess pieces over the years to get to where he is now and get away with the schite he's actually a very savvy politician and people don't see it. They gonna write books about this man one day.
