Correct. That is why we cast a vote because we vote for policies! And you're not voting to win the overall majority, you are voting for your municipality too. Ie: People not voting because the ANC will win by 90% is silly ! Its about demographics and services along with policies.

That way the ANC can cater to the area --- knowing its either houses or a squatter camp! If they believe there's a squatter camp in an area based on votes they'll soma let it go to ruin because that's how they treat their voters! At least with minority party strongholds in suburbs they can attend to services payed for by the taxes from those people. We don't want the entire country to collapse now do we.

If they really want independence why not reopen the Scorpions again under a new name and use the same criteria that organizations like the FBI use -- 4 year degrees, impeccable backgrounds & records etc ?? Oh yes, that's right because 75% of ANC MP's would be in jail. Its not that the Scorpions weren't independent, its that the paper trail always leads to their members. Whenever the Scorpions found corruption .. a bunch of people would be connected .. inevitably one of them from the ANC

If they fixed up the SAPS, Scorpions and sorted out corruption I would have no problem, considering supporting them.

Whoa. Easy, tiger. I acknowledged what you said and justified what I had said. In my quick skim through the 16 pages of this thread I have laughed at most of what you have said and only quoted and responded to a very minute amount of the flawed, one-sided content. Everyone else has taken care of the rest. So thank you. It's been entertaining and horrifying at the same time. However, since we are "going for kills" here...it's 'quite' and not 'quiet'. Seems to be a recurring thing. However, if edited, would make completely flawed content only mostly flawed.

They claim that they will make empowerment non-race-based. Which means that they will do things under the banner of business as usual, which is not good, you cant be faced with extra-ordinary circumstances and you chose to do the ordinary. THE ANC is brave enough to realize this.

I have and I am not impressed. They pretend as if blacks were not oppressed and therefore do not need affirmation. How can you think that way, when poverty hits black people so hard. I want policies that are specific in addressing black peoples issues and the DA dont do that.
