I wasn't even aware of the whole anti vaccine movement at the time. I just got the most horrible "flu", and I vowed never to take the shot again. Most of my friends and people I know take it and also get "flu" symptoms. Strange.

Very strange, I mean it's not like people get flu vaccines around the time that flu season starts... Causality, learn about it.

Well the article uses terms like "medical police state" and says the next step will be forced organ harvesting. Rings alarm bells. I think vaccination is a good thing. However, I do believe we overvaccinate our pets: annual vaccines are too much.

Absolutely agree. Human vaccines is not only for the protection of the recipient but also the people around him/her. I also believe dogs should not be vaccinated more than every 2 years.

Anyway the truth is that no vaccine proponents have claimed that vaccines are 100% safe. Nothing in life is. That people don't vaccinate because vaccines carry a very small risk doesn't mean they're being sensible. Measles alone is an order of magnitude more risky than childhood vaccines, but these same people have no problem subjecting their children to it. It isn't about safety, it's about conspiracy theories, being anti-medicine and anti-technology.
