You can bring them in but the special shipping cost for li-ion safe packaging and handling makes it very much uneconomical.

Essentially you have to suck it up and pay the local premium.

Looks like that's what I'll have to do. If I can find one. Don't seem to be in stock in the usual places, even the generics are on backorder with no eta.

Mine does accomodate it via DHL, but I have pay risk fee on top of paying for dhl also

Cameraworld .Bellville, C.T. appear to be advertising replacement batteries in the BP-828 configuration, if they have stock is another issue though.


Thanks, they did say they have them in stock so I ordered a pair from them. Seems a decent price.

yep think 45 or 60 dollars per shipment risk fee. Paid for it used iphone last year
So you can have as many li-ion items per shipment and the fee will cover everything?

I thought they only charged for loose batteries not also integrated ones?
