Any company or way to import camera batteries into SA?

With the restrictions on Lithium-ion batteries, it seems impossible to get any into the country. Does anyone know of any company or somesuch that imports these items?

You can bring them in but the special shipping cost for li-ion safe packaging and handling makes it very much uneconomical.

Essentially you have to suck it up and pay the local premium.

Looks like that's what I'll have to do. If I can find one. Don't seem to be in stock in the usual places, even the generics are on backorder with no eta.

So you can have as many li-ion items per shipment and the fee will cover everything?

I thought they only charged for loose batteries not also integrated ones?
