Any fisheye fans out there

So I saw today that the new 300mm and 400mm glass got delayed, along with the 8-15mm fisheye, and it occurred to me that most of the discussion I've seen on-line are about the two long primes - hardly a word about the fisheye. So am I the only one who is excited at the prospect of an 8-15mm L fisheye?

That's really annoying.

I can't ever see myself getting a fish eye though.

I never did either until I used one for a weekend. I've never been a fan of the peephole style fisheye pictures, but I saw a post on dpreview of some seascape images done with the 15mm fisheye, and this opened my eyes to what's possible. It's pretty useful for a wide angle if you want to avoid perspective distortion. Check these, for example:

Here is Sigma 10-20mm:

Ignore the different light/exposure - it was taken two years apart at different times of the day and different times of the year :)
