Any good free dvd rippers / converters ?

ya no problem with CSS, AnyDvd takes care of that.
Created the ISO from the Video_TS using "backup" in DVD Shrink.

Running one thru now @ 700Mb/ AC3/Xvid & see what sort of end result i end up with.
I'm aiming to still have 5.1 sound + decent video quality so i'm skeptical i'm going to see that from a 700Mb file, but we'll see.

In my experience H264 beats XVid on perceived quality per meg. Most set-top player don't support though so its no ideal for everyone.:eek:

5.1 sound shouldn't be a huge issue size-wise.
