Any idea where I can buy a table that is ideal for gaming? Must only have a flat top and no "lips" so I can attach my steering wheel. So needs to be sturdy and durable.
I'll go have a look, thanks.Take a look at Decofurn. Cheaper than anywhere else and really sturdy desks: http://www.decofurnsa.co.za/product/axa-180cm-desk/
I bought one of the L-shape units for my home office and couldn't be happier, the desk is very solid and considering the price you can't go wrong.
If it's anything like Makro then it's ****.The quality of Game products (especially their furniture) is appalling.
Rental house so don't want to drill holes. In any case my 46" is an EOL LFD so can't find a stand for it. I'm using one of these:Get two sets or drawers the correct height and plonk a counter top from a hardware/wood place on top. If it's very long you support it with a 2x2" brace screwed to the wall so it does not sag in the middle but this will only happen if it's very long seeing as it's 32-35mm thick. Looking at about R700 for a 3.6m counter top.
Don't want trestles, they take up floor space and the desk tends to move. I want to attach a steering wheel so it needs to be sturdy.

I went to have a look, desk wobbles. No good for a steering wheel.Take a look at Decofurn. Cheaper than anywhere else and really sturdy desks: http://www.decofurnsa.co.za/product/axa-180cm-desk/

I bought 4 of these for my office, and they are probably the best desks I've used.
Pictures are a bit crappy, but basically it is a small frame, and a sheet of glass on top.
Got them about 2 years ago I think, and still holding up well.
