Anyone got any insight on this product? I'm thinking it looks like a pretty good price for the specs. I'm just skeptical about the brand as I haven't seen them before in SA and can't find much info especially for this particular all in one system.

We have sold 2 x SRNE inverters Here :)

Played around with the unit and looks pretty cool. Comes from a reputable supplier as well so warranty won’t be an issue

Getting the SRNE 3000W inverter next week, will add my 2c.

Did you pull the trigger and if so, how is the unit performing?
Yep, been running it ever since :). She's humming a little now recharging the Hubbles, loadshedding ended at 10, actually it's powering down now as I speak... Loving it hey! Hasn't skipped a beat and only makes a significant noise when charging, but I'm so used to it now that I don't even notice it to be honest with you. During the day when it trickle charges it's hardly noticeable, I have it a metre away from my PC. Get @DuracellBunny to hook you up with one.

Thanks Zoozi, always good to get tried and tested units. You get yours from SP-Energy? or another supplier?

Hi all, has anyone installed one of these "SRNE All in one " kits? how is the noise? considering installing on in an apartment.

That price of R31,650 damn good for a 3.5Kw quality pure sine wave inverter+ 5kWh lifepo4 combo.

The company checks out on CIPCs website as well. I doubt they have stock.

Spoken to installer who suggested one. Seen a few places advertising. Around r32k. Is there better options out there in that price range?
I think it's excellent value for money due to its simplicity, there are not many similar options around, I guess if you really look hard enough, but honestly I can't think there would be any reason not to install it.

The appeal is an all-in-one and simple installation to DB board, making it " what " compared to a modular approach? Cleaner and smaller form factor?

Haven't checked the PDFs on it, but what makes this an easy good value for money proposition?

Whenever something goes wrong, you have to fit whatever back in that unit?

Good questions. I think the appeal is it looks neat to install inside apartments

Yes, if there isn't an official local distributor for warranty issues and these guys are just bringing in the odd container from Alibaba then it is a bit risky. I'd want something in writing about what their warranty entails.

What are the options for inverter and battery? Similar specs and price range. Don’t really need more than these specs

I'm terms of installation to the DB board it's still the same as any other inverter.

It's good value for money because a 5kWh battery is already close to the R30k. The all in one factor eliminates the need for battery cabinets, cables and circuit breakers on the DC side.

Not sure I understand the lady part but when something goes wrong you do what you would with any other product, take it in and let them fix it.

Seems good then, but not expandable.

Warranty on this? How much would installation be you think?

I have always felt that installation costs are massively overpriced but I guess if you can't do the install yourself you really have no options

For me it should be nothing more than R5k including the CoC.

Not sure about warranty, I was also interested to see who is selling it.
