Mauritius? But that wont give you anything spare for activities and stuff other than what's provided.

Zim and Nam are probably within your reach?

As mentioned South East Asia area
Should be ok in Southern Africa
Vic Falls?
Don't overlook Malawi
Bots yes if you're in to game vieweing

You have options I'd also recommend booking yourself a lot more flexible and opens options like airbnb.
But maybe start at a travel agent, get an idea where you'd like to go then see what it works out to when doing your own bookings. Certain destinations the agent can be cheaper.

Good luck, enjoy your travels.

If you are super flexible with your dates/times, then maybe Thailand or Bali. You will probably be flying on a long long haul multiple flight airline through the middle east, so 4 days of your holiday will be traveling and being bored in airports.

Try Google flights to search for cheapest dates, using the daily price browser feature.

Then try find some popular/highly rated affordable hotel names in that country from tripadvisor and booking.com. But go to the hotel website directly to check if the price is cheaper there.

Unless you can find a package deal, flights to Vietnam are around R11k. Once here, things are pretty cheap (R5k for 10 nights in a '3 star' hotel, R20 - R30 for a meal, R20 a Beer, cheap clothing to buy) etc.

+1 for this. Just recently got back from a trip to that part of the world.
