Any Sodastream owners around....

So for the true fizz heads - do you fill up your own SodaStream tanks (seems like more work), or do you just buy a large tank and connect it directly to your SodaStream machine?

You should carbonate just the water, then add your syrup afterwards. Be aware though that the Pepsi and seven up syrups does not taste like the real thing. You can taste the difference. There are different flavoured syrups to try.

He wants to do fruit juices though. So that's not a helpful suggestion

OK, I missed that, still though, the sugar in the fruit juice will cause a lot of boiling when you unscrew the bottle.

Think I found the solution, it's called the BIBO Fizz Bar.

It has a controlled release so you can fizz a whole lot of stuff, not just water, little higher cost though at R1686 but probably worth it for my purposes.

Quick one... Been asked before and on other threads...

Good supplier of CO2 I Cape Town? One that won't get a bit alarmed if you say you're drinking it?

MyBB expits don't like sugar.

So according to that article, you have tripled your diabetes and given it to the next person.

Why do you hate "unhealthy stuff like Coke"?

It's not just the sugar that is unhealthy.

Both are Coca-Cola products, yet only one lists sugar as an ingredient, so that would mean (assuming of course as it's Coca-Cola after all) that Grapetiser would get it's sugar from the fruit juice itself, which is different from refined white sugar.

From Google:
Sugar in fruit and sugar in processed foods are not the same. Fruits contain sugars known as fructose and glucose. When these sugars are combined, the result is sucrose (commonly called table sugar or white sugar).

But yeah, still a lot of sugar.......

MyBB expits dont like sugar.

So if you mention anything with sugar, you will get asked the question, "Do you know the ingredients?"

My current drink contains 50mg/L Quinine. Wonder what the annual GNU consesus will be.

So I mainly buy Grapetiser.

But thought if I buy a Sodastream I could vary things a little and buy say pomegranate juice and just fizz that up. The options are endless.
Since appetizer and grapetizer really is basically just reconstituted juice and then carbonated you should just find someone who sells the powder form and then figure out how much co2 is just right.

You really think someone would sell in smaller quantities like that.

I would also think that a giant like Coca-Cola would create their own juice rather than sourcing, or not?
