Cant believe I only thought about looking for a nfl thread on mybroadband untill just a moment ago.

Been watching about 5 years. Started out searching for streams on dodgy websites that streamed the games at like 50kbs. Finally in a position now that I can stream it at 720p.

Oh and as teams go, there can be only one. LETS GO BROOONCOOOS LETS GO!!!

anybody here play fantasy?

the most complete QB in the nfl right now,can run when needed to and quarterbacks like a 12yr old veteran . So much fun to watch

Im kind of liking geno smith. He is also a beast and can throw a ball as hard and accurate as the best of them.

On a side note... what the **** is up with tom brady? He cost me my fantasy season

I will be honest I was never a fan of Geno in college and coming out of college but he is starting to win me over , I still hate the Jets though.

As for Brady I expect him to slowly improve now that his fav toy is back, that offense run via Gronk, Toms stats should start picking up now.

His receiving corps is young and learning on the job. Also, he hasn't had his two best targets all season. He only got The Gronk back last week (8 catches for 114 yards) and Aaron Hernandez, well, you know what happened there. But, he was still winning. That pass to beat the Saints two weeks ago. . .Elite. I despise the Pats & Brady (being a Raiders fan, they had one of the worst calls in the last ten years go their way and screwed the Raiders in the playoffs), but Brady is good.

Now that he has got Gronk back, things should get better.

Guys, I have a confession to make...

I still believe in Tim Tebow!

Great attitude and work ethic, terrible mechanics as a passer. I think his time has come and gone. Had that nice little run with the Broncos in 2011, but that is it I believe. Not even the Patriots, one of the league's best coached teams, saw enough to justify keeping him as a back up.

Surely though Tebow can be worst then some of these QBs playing right now...and there are some truly shocking QBs at the moment.

Like its been mentioned before, the problem with Tebow is his mechanics, he just cant seem to get that sorted out, he throws a terrible spiral which often goes nowhere near his wr hands or gets them killed in the process of trying to catch it. He has been given numerous chances to change position from QB to a HB/TE so that he can extend his stay in the league, but every time he has stubbornly refused to.

The Rams, who lost Sam Bradford for the season called up freaking old man Bret Favre to see if he would come out of retirement to play the remainder of the season for them, I think that should tell you that the league has moved on from Tebow.

I never quite understood how qbs like tebow even make it into the league. Surely in a country as big ass :)D) America, someone else can throw a ball better. And surely they must have spotted his wrong mechanics in the first place.

Or are the defensive side of the nfl just too powerful for most qb's so only the really exceptional make a lasting impression?

Somewhere, some how, someone must be able to do better.

I don't think any team who took an interest in Tebow (Broncos,Jets and Pats) had any intention of playing him, it had more to do with the massive fan base=revenue.

which is why Tebow to Jacksonville has always been spoken about as it was where Tebow played College (Florida) and the Jags desperately needed (and still do) a boost in their fan base

Shame I wonder if the jaguars are even aware the season has started. They are really hurting this season.

Trying to learn the game. Am a huge Union fan, but very open and keen to learn Have worked through a number of videos on Youtube.

I know enough to know that not knowing enough means the real delights are missed. Both union rugger and cricket seem silly and boring to the ignorant, so the same must apply to gridiron.
