Oh?..
I thought you were taking delivery on Saturday....
Yes - but i haven't signed the papers with tha bank yet. So it isn't "pissed away" yet - only when it is signed.

No problem, the input has been fascinating.
I would now like to make a suggestion to the Admin of MyBB that we start off a whole new section called "I would like to make a d@@s if myself and would like the whole world to know"
Interesting threads such as this are endless.![]()
You make it sound like it's still something you would LIKE to do?
AAAAAHHH...so we are holding it in at the moment are we?
Here's to a very healthy prostate..![]()
pfffff - ok let me spell it out - it is silver (which was not in stock), hasn't arrived yet and needs the additions added before i take delivery. Simple really - if you have bought a car before it may be logical? No? You cannot really expect something to be paid for when it has not yet been "produced".
Only 70?... Fazda.. you amateur.
Plus, I'm surprised a dealer is willing to procure a vehicle that isn't in stock, and modify it without some form of legally binding contract.... GWM must be so desperate to sell their P.O.S. vehicles.
Okie dokey, your points... show me them!A few points I forgot to mention:
TATA's got the money - look at what has come from Jaguar since being taken over by TATA. As long as they keep supplying the funds & leave the established marques under their control to do their own thing, being taken over by TATA seems to be a good thing. As an aside, I'd rather drive an Indica than a Hover and yes, I have driven both.1) Land Rover isn't owned by Ford but by TATA. I would rather drive a GWM than a TATA![]()
Really? Funny that EuroNCAP's own site shows that the 2007 Freelander indeed did score a 5/5 rating. The most current tests for Discoverys and Rangies might be 4/5, but they're EuroNCAP 4/5s - probably worth ± 76/5 by the Chinese NCAP standards.2) Land Rover does not have a EuroNCAP above 4 stars for the Discovery or Freelander.
Having no rating by virtue of not having been tested is still preferable to having a shoddy rating from a questionable source. I've driven Fortuners; their centre of gravity's higher than what I'd like, but at least they stop & go reasonably well - more than can be said for the Hover.3) The Fortuner has no rating whatsoever, it would be lucky to get more than three stars, just look at the Fortuner's pathetic safety rating on http://www.carsplusplus.com
I had a look. He didn't say much... Nothing of any value anyway.4) Read what an Australian from the first world has to say: http://www.my-scenic-motorbike-rides.com/great-wall-x240-hover.html
Perhaps. Or perhaps they would prefer their parents not flaunting their ignorance for the whole world to see. Being dropped off in a Hover must be like being the fat kid with bits of orange Cheetos stuck in your braces... everyone else will point and laugh, and you just won't know why. There's no justification beyond "my dad's cheap"; kids don't like to have to say that.5) If your kids are embarrassed to be dropped off in a Hover then you aren't doing a good job of teaching them any set of values except a worship of materialism.
Again, depending on the situation, perhaps... What people spend on cars is all relative, though. If they're able to without breaking the bank, then let them. If they've *only* got R199k to spend, then there's a whole AutoTrader full of astute 2nd-hand options they could take rather than a two-bit Chinese wannabe. Also, they'll probably live longer.6) I don't work for Hover, have always purchased my vehicles for cash and yet I don't see the need to throw money down the toilet and if you do want to flush 199,000 down the toilet for a Hover you have more brains than the idiot who flushes twice this amount down the toilet for a Toyota, Land Rover etc..
