Any way to get Telkom to speed up?

I've recently applied for a landline from Telkom so I can get internet at my new place. Got the order number on the 10th, but still no progress from that point on wards. I've tried going to the store and phoning the call center but they both say the same thing, more or less that it's within their network and it has to be approved before a technician gets the order. They also say that it cannot be escalated until it gets to a technician. Before I've gotten the order number I've also tried the Telkom twitter account and the MyBB account, but both of them take 2 days to respond between messages.

When I check the order online, it says "Checking stock in our warehouse" which is nonsense since this requires no stock (the house already has a landline in, just needs to be activated).

My problem is that I've got two guys living in this place that work from home or need to be able to access work related stuff from home (e-mails, RD into PC, etc.), so I need internet up ASAP. Apart from this, I'll also be out of country from this weekend for a week and a half, so I can't arrange for a technician appointment in that time, further delaying the installation.

Is there anything I can do that will possibly speed up this process?

If you have a reference/order number and need someone to come by your place, drive around your area and look for a technician by the side of the road. The promise of pizza and beer works a treat and get them to your place quite quick.
That how I got Telkom to fix issues when I lived on a small holding.

The other option is to keep calling, and feel your sanity slowly fade away....

I would do that as I know where the offices are for the technicians, but according to the reps on the phone as well as in store, the order number isn't with the techs yet so they cannot install at this point. No idea if this is nonsense or not.

Still waiting for an update from Telkom. Nothing changed yet, apart from my growing frustration.
