Any way to recover web address lost to OOB message?

Sometimes I'll open links from various pages only to find my data has run out and the OOB message replacing the web address, for instance:

http://oob.telkom.co.za/awan/oob/accept

Because it was link opened from another page I can't press the back button to go find the original link, can be a real pita to scroll through history to find the original page and hunt for the link, is there any way to recover the lost address or avoid this nuisance?

On chome if you press and hold down the "back button" it will show all visited sites on that tab.

Session buddy but that is similar to looking at the history.

I'm on Firefox it's weird how the oob does almost a dns redirect which completely loses the original address.
