Anybody affected by water-shedding/water restrictions?

So anyway this weekend has been odd
Our complex has almost the whole weekend been cut off from the water supply,
People running with buckets trying to fill at one borehole next to a park.

But nothing mentioned in the media that a big commercial area has no water.

This is the Bedfordview east Rand Johannesburg area.

Anybody else experiencing water shortages/restrictions?

Please don't call it "water shedding". That's a complete misunderstanding of the way the term is used in electricity.

Krugersdorp water towers all down to last quarter. Smelling mouldy.

is this because of a problem or actually because of restrictions?

Rand water cannot supply enough to fill all areas due to usage in the heat for the last 5 weeks.

i suspect more that they had an issue than an actual lockdown

As for water shedding, I'm trying to start a trend! When we had load shedding some got power while others didn't, so shedding,

Same exact thing here, some areas had, and some did, therefore water shedding!
