Anybody aware of new Fibre rollout in Germiston?

Just wondering if anyone stays in or around Hazel Park in Germiston. Was driving around on the weekend and there was a massive line of guys digging trenches and laying fibre in Beacon Road. Asked the guys there but they wouldn't say much. Had a look on every website I can think of and no mention of it as yet, so just wondering if anybody has any info that I might not. Its a residential area so leads me to think it might (finally....) be an FTTH rollout of some kind.

I'm not sure about Germiston but Highway Gardens is being trenched.

That's just down the road from you - so to speak.

I noticed they are working their way up slowly from Alberton up into Wadeville and slowly into Germiston. Guess I will just have to continue my rain dances and begging and praying
