Hey werfie, we're totally aware of the demand for an iOS app and it is something that is being worked on, however we do not have an ETA on when it will be released, for now we encourage all iOS users to make use of our internet banking on their browsers. We will be sure to update as soon as we have more news on the app. :thumbsup:

finally printed out a card this weekend. haven't used it yet, but no issues with the printing. and my limits have been adjusted to the max limit.

Kudos to @TymeBank @TymeGuy. SMS received advising of a credit in respect of the lost smart shopper points due to an unlinked card.

Well done for reconciling and more importantly keeping your word.

Mine still hasn't been linked. What must i do from my side to get it sorted?@tymebank @@tymeguy

Hey Aharon, I'll follow up on the team with that query as I would hate to give you an answer we can't guarantee at this stage.

Hey emptybruwer, drop me a PM with your account number so I can look into this, if it wasn't linked when you first collected your TymeBank card, there isn't currently a way to link post opt-in. But let me see what we can do. :thumbsup:

I just picked up my card this weekend. how can i make sure it's linked?

Must just say, the R2 fee to send an EFT to a different bank account kinda annoys me.

Hey,

Swipe it at the smartshopper kiosk. If it shows the same balance as your main card, it's linked. If it asks you to register or shows no balance its not linked

I've been contemplating using my Tymebank card at PnP once my checkers cap with ebucks is blown. I'm not sure if double points is worth it for the amount of money I'll spend, but YOLO.

I was wondering - how does one tell if Tymebank and smart shopper are linked properly?

Just swipe your TymeBank card at the P&P kiosk (that is it) .... it will say with what account it is linked

@TymeBank @TymeGuy, I have a question and this would most probably affect a good percentage of your target client base. ie. lower income band.
Unlike most of the people posting on this thread, I have never had a PNP smart shopper card as I seldom shop there.
Its' totally out of my way and much more expensive than my local stores.
When I do shop there, it will be with a family member and they use their Smart Shopper card.
Now I signed up for a Tymebank card and I know it doubles as a smart shopper card.
Given that you cannot link a smart shopper card after signing up to Tymebank, my Tymebank is not linked to a smart shopper online profile/card as I did not have one at the time of signing up to Tymebank.
My understanding was that the Tymebank card is a Smart Shopper card so why get a regular smart shopper card?
Will I earn any points by swiping my Tymebank card for any purchases at PNP or elsewhere?
If I do, how do I access any points I would accumulate when I shop using the card?
Is it treated as a regular smart shopper card which you can ask the cashier at PNP to spend points off?
There have been issues with your smart shopper programme and points going to anonymous accounts, hence my confusion as to what happens to an unlinked Tymebank card?

True, but Tyme needs to get cash somewhere to pay the rest of us our 9% interest.

Also, is the R20 off Pick n Pay purchases promotion still running? I got 4 smses about it after using my Pick n Pay store account to pay for groceries.
