Only things I've managed to pay with Tymebank card linked to Capitec MasterPass app so far was:
- Yearly TV license fee (they apparently use https://payat.co.za as payment gateway, if that matters).
- Tshwane account (post-paid) using EasyPay

Any idea on how much Tyme it will take?
First time Smart Shopper. Downloaded the Pick n' Pay app, trying to sign up it asks to
register with Smart Shopper card and ID. It verifies ID and Smart
Shopper number on Tyme Card, however then gives me the following
message: This card number has already been registered. Contacted their customer support whom mentioned that I would need to get a blue Smart Shopper card in store and then have the two linked. Having read some of the posts here regarding issues with cards not being linked, is this the correct procedure?

Means it's already linked and you don't need to do anything.

There is something seriously wrong with the points system.
So you get 1 point for every R3 spend right.
I got 1258 points for October. So that means 1258 x R3 = R3774 yet I spend my whole salary excluding tbe R7000 cash via the card so that is around R15 000 I swiped out on the card on fuel groceries ect.
As expected Tyme Bank is totally useless from the time they broke smartshopper system wiped all the points until now.
Really not worth using them anymore. Smartshopper was the only reason I stuck with them.
Thank you confirming that. Contacted their customer support again and got it sorted through a different consultant.

Yes, or you can use the TymeBank App and select cash deposit via TymeCode. You then just show the cashier the TymeCode generated.

If you have a card yes just say you want to do a deposit with Tyme Bank. They will ask how much and then point you to the POS machine. You insert it and enter pin. Then it will authorize and you are done.

You can also generate a deposit tymecode in the app/website and deposit without a card
How did tyme prevent you from using mybb?

For me as well. I thought it would be a good card to use for tapping at Gautrain. Howver, it was shortly after the gautrain contacltess tap in was launched, so I will give it a couple more tries in case it was Gautrain's system. as someone told me they also could not tap in with their capitec card.
