App update says ability to switch your card on and off for online transactions. Is it just a on/off switch or can you actually do online transactions now?

What does local online transactions mean?
Can't you purchase internationally?

Hey guys, regarding online transactions, it's a slow release, we are doing it incrementally, expect a full release very soon.
Finally! I see it in my app, but will it have like verified by visa security?

Hi all, wonder if anyone can assist.

i have requested to close my Tymebank account back in October and received the forms to complete. I completed all these forms with a verified ID copy as required and returned them to the email I received.

The email stated the account will be closed within 5 business days of receiving the documents. After 2 weeks, nothing happened so I asked for an update on the matter and have no response still 2 weeks later.

I would really like to close the account ASAP, should I send another account closure request or can they close the account if i contact the call center?

all advice will be appreciated!

10.2. You are responsible for paying any taxes that you owe to the South African Revenue Services (‘SARS’) because of any law. If law requires us to process any of these payments for you, you agree that we can make the payment from your Accounts. If your balance is not enough to cover this payment, you agree that you will pay back any amount which we pay to SARS for you.

23.2. We have a right to set-off and to hold your funds as security so that we can settle any debt or any other obligation you owe to us. You agree to settle any indebtedness to us and pay any negative balances in your Account when we demand it.
Quite concerning.

Not really. Most banks, financial lenders, credit card companies, etc will have clause(s) to that effect that cover/absolve themselves in their T+C's. They are obliged by law to.

SARS first in line. Everything and everyone else follows...
