Tyme never bothered to call me back on Wednesday.
On Thursday I also email their service address, and got the standard "We will get back to you shortly". Still nothing though.

@TymeBank @TymeGuy Please can we get this resolved.

Still no feedback from tyme.
No one has bothered to get back to me.
My money is still mia.

This is super pathetic.

I had a frustrating time with one of the Tymebank Kiosks. Went to go sort out my moms account with her and the machine denied me when I wanted to do all the verification stuff for her to get her profile limits lifted. Straight after selecting the address, it said something went wrong and then went to the "Lets print your card screen". I thought I was still in the game when I saw that, but then it said "Something went wrong, please try again later". I tried this three times, then gave up with that machine.

I then went to a different PnP, and while the address portion of the process failed, but I was able to print a card. So I had a small victory.

Now I understand why people rage about signing up, because it's just as frustrating trying to sign up and get the card, etc now as it was a year ago. There must be one hell of a drop off rate of potential new clients because of machine issues with printing cards, and verifying of addresses.

I love Tyme but FML, when you are trying to help an older person get going, it's a drag of a process.

Now that I am done raging, does anyone have any advice on trying to get my mom's profile to one with higher limits? I've tried selecting an address I recognize, one I don't, and typing in a new one, and it still rejects it. I have a feeling she's stuck with this until she goes to home affairs?

Welcome to the queue of people waiting for Tyme's so-called "verify by selfie" feature. Here, come stand behind me, I'll make space for you. Oh and don't worry, it won't be long now. We've only been waiting for the better part of this year.

That's super concerning.

Have you tried the Banking Ombudsman? This is from Tyme's T&Cs:

From what I have read on the Onbuds website, I have to wait a month after submitting my complaint to Tyme.
Well, in 7 days, it would be a full month.

I'm just glad it wasnt a large chunk of money.

Edit, urgg, I was being a poop. I dont know where I saw the 30 days, I just visited the obssa's site again now and it also shows 20 days.
Thanks Sarel.

Get on the FNB app/website and add your Tyme account as a beneficiary.

So I logged into my account just now and see that the money that went missing has been added to the goal save I initially tried to transfer it into.
No notification, no explanation.
Hope that found whatever the issue was and plugged that hole.

Log in with Tyme, write down your account number
Log in with FNB, say make payment. Select TymeBank, put your tyme account nr in, and say pay

Wait 24 to 48 hours

As easy as that
