Where do I see my limit? I've opened up my account when they launched, but only went to get my card this past weekend.

logon via your pc (right hand side top, click on your profile), on the left hand side a new menu (look for limits)

No .... Do you have a TymeCard yet (Debit Card) ? If not, get one via pick and pay kiosk (see if they upgrade you)

No, let me explain. when you select the bank (FNB), 254005 pops up as the Randburg Commercial Suite.

You can type in the universal code (250655), but it isnt accepted => Error => Please select a valid branch

Then just do not change the code? I just added a FNB beneficiary Randburg Commercial Suite.

Like I said above, I went to get the card over the weekend. It then told me to first insert it into an ATM to activate the card so I did a balance enquiry at a Standard Bank ATM close by. When I checked the card status again it showed my card as active. I have, as yet, not deposited any money on the card though.

I also don't know if TymeBank (maybe you can tell us @TymeGuy ) expects us to just rock up at Home Affairs and just tell Home Affairs "we just want to rescan our thumbprints ok".

Anyway, my passport is expiring later this year, so I will rescan my fingerprints then when I do it via the banks, I already have a smart ID, so that's out.

I, too, need to visit home affairs to get a new ID. I lost my ID two years ago already, but just don't have the energy to go sit at home affairs all day long.

Also to add, you can then go in on the kiosk and at the top somewhere you will see "Unlock your features" or somesuch. You can then try to rescan your thumbprints and choose your place of residence to try to unlock the higher level, if you have tried it a few times at different kiosks and it doesn't want to unlock higher limits, one has to get ones fingerprints rescanned at Home Affairs.

Where is the kraaibak place you have as your location? FNB now does it in CT, not just Standard Bank anymore, and obviously in Gauteng there are a few:

Other branches include; Portside (Cape Town)

So how old is the GS exactly? Maybe you are now on day 90 exactly and it will happen tomorrow.

Also stuck on 7% still GS opened 29/10/2019

All major banks are giving poor rates to the "bone". I asked a few why cant they increase rates. They all say Tyme is very "risky". LOL

If it did not give you an error then it simply didn't up your limits. You can try to unlock them again. Also if it gives you an address choose a familiar one and don't enter one manually.

That's only 2 months. It will go to 9% around 27 Jan.

Fkn LOL. That's embarrassing, and sub-standard should be ashamed.

I have heard the same thing from a lot of other people, probably in this thread. I don't remember the reasoning though. But YOLO!
They're currently burning capital. Maybe their unsecured loans will pay off. Will have to see.

Capitec was called a mickey mouse bank by many, meanwhile that mouse ate the big 4s lunch and now it has the most retail customers.
