And still stuck on 20k limit with TymeBank Card etc.
You may need to wait till 30 Jan to be on 9%....

@TymeBank I have noticed a similar thing with me, although my account wasn't locked. In the Android app if you enter the pin too fast, it says "Invalid PIN". You have to enter it slowly (wait for each number to change to a point before entering the next).

That's a first for me :unsure: can you send me the details of your device via PM?

Now the only thing remaining is the facial recognition verification since I am still stuck on the Just Met stage with a measly R20 000 limit.
@TymeBank @TymeGuy any news when this will be available or is there an alternative to upping the limits without the hassles of going to Home Affairs?

Currently we do not have an alternative for increasing your profile limits from 'Getting to know you' and we are very aware of the issue. As you know, we expect facial recognition to resolve this issue. We will be sure to update you guys as soon as this becomes available. TymeGuy ... when adding a beneficiary (FNB), I can only select one branch code ... and if I enter it manually it complains. Think its a bug. Just take note of it

PM sent. Would be great if they can look into it. At the moment I am forced to keep another bank account, which is not ideal.

I went to the kiosk to try get a card, did a whole lot of things, fingerprints, security questions and I remember something about limits but at the end machine told me it could not issue me a card and I should try another kiosk, don't know if there are issues or the machine simply did not have cards.

It is the middle level (if I can call it that), the long and short, your total GoalSaves can be max R50 000 (in total).

Try another kiosk (and cross fingers)

I collected my Tyme card, but never activated it. Still show I need to activate it.
That said, I am on the maximum best friends level and have R100k in my goalsaves.

Going to go to a kiosk this arvie and try the change address feature and select an existing HA one to see if that help to jump me to top level (from 50k)

No idea why it decided to put me on middle level when I answered all q's when I signed up, have the new plastic ID card and a new passport I got when I returned from living in UK a few yrs back.

At any rate, the kiosk no longer gives the option to "unlock new features" (where has it disappeared to?!) . the onsite Tymebank assistant was clueless as usual although helpful, but his manager told us it can be done online.

Is this indeed correct?

Edit: Just checked online - that isn't correct, no such option as i recalled.
Why are Tymebank managers still giving out incorrect advice to clients ????

So I read this thread today and just went to buy some snacks at pick n pay. As I leave the cashier I see the machine standing all lonely in the corner and think to myself "why not". I timed myself and off I go... 3 minutes and 42 seconds later all addresses and fingerprints verified with my card printed. Easiest thing I've done in a while and all this wearing flip flops, a shorts and some grocery bags in hand.

Let's hope everything going forward is as smooth. I'm specifically looking forward to the smart shopper points as the ebucks haven't been all that for me.

They have definitely improved things. I had issues when they were going through some teething issues with their machines. But I was stubborn and tried and tried again until I won.

I think the luck of the draw comes from if your details at home affairs has been updated pretty recently. So I managed to get my profile up to the highest with one trip to the machine. My mom is a different story. She is stuck on the entry level profile. and that's after trying many machines many times.

I'm hoping tymeguy can bust some magic for her.

Otherwise I don't recall any issues since then. Tyme isn't my primary bank but I have started to switch to them near the end of the month once I've hit all my ebucks caps. I can't say that pick n pay points come close but at least it's something. But the goal save interest rates were and still are the main draw for me The phantom authentication issue I had with the app is also gone.

I must also say that having tymeguy and the other rep give updates on this thread every now and again is quite nice. With FNB you are nothing but a number. With substandard, you aren't even a number LOL.

Is this a screenshot of your app or did you log into the site? I only operate on app and have never seen my current interest rate
Web on iPhone no app yet..

Android App doesn't show current interest rate just interest amount..

they managed to do it ( for all accounts I believe, as per the mob app update of 14 Jan
)
Upgraded goalsaves to 100k.
