That is just the max limit you can put into account, so R100 000 in goalsaves and R400 000 everyday account for example, but the R400 000 will not earn any interest.
A very decent amount to work with compared to my R50k combined, but there is really nothing to complain about looking at my snail pace of savings.

Still much more workable for my various savings goals, like car services and holidays than the R20 000 limit was, I will now bother to really put money in there.

Just paid ( 13:30pm ) 50k to my Tyme account towards my of my goalsaves ( 25k apiece, both already primed at 9%)

Curious to see if it clears by this pm ( hopefully no delays or shennanigans like a few ppl have had with large amounts ).

Will report back later.

I did something similar this morning however I pushed most of it to an existing goalsave at 9% and put in a smaller one into a new goalsave to get it going. My second goalsave is at 7% currently and will probably reach 9% by in the next week or so.

Money came through about 10 minutes ago - was transferred at 12:36 from FNB.

Nothing wrong with AB at all. Picture a TFSA also at 10% (the early days). Its now 8.35%.

Wonder if Tyme gonna do a TFSA maybe ?
They were under curatorship a little while back and thats the picture that sticks in most big investors minds.

Well, if you are scared of that, stay away. Things changed (crossing fingers), but only time will tell. And we are now talking YEARS back

My debit card is showing as "currently inactive". I did activate it with a transaction when I first got it and it did show as activated - but I haven't used the card since. Do they deactivate it if you don't use it?
