Not planning on using them any time soon as I have a bond to kill, but figured I might as well load them up in case I ever need them

Do the maths. R100 000 aint alot. You will make it quickly up. Start one for the wife too ! (double up power)

Interest rate on bond is same as on goalsave. Interest earned is taxable, interest saved isn't. Step one is to get the outstanding bond value to R0. Only then does it start making sense to put any funds in a goalsave.

Interest earned is taxable,

Tax not really any issue unless you've also stashed R200k or more at a really good interest rate outside your GoalSave. In which case, the question would be, where did you find a better interest rate than TymeBank?

I did an eft last Saturday (10am. At 2pm, it was in Tyme)! Really impressive for a Saturday to be honest

I wonder if the originating bank makes a difference in time frame. I sent money from Discovery bank to kick off my Tyme accounts. Did EFT at 14h33. Got text from Tyme at 16h26 to say funds received.

I double checked the payment details and it seems I never completed the EFT yesterday  Made the payment now, will see if it clears on a Sat

BOND. (excuse the caps, but it seems you're hard of hearing)
I use access bond for 6 figures // a combo of Tyme Bank and FNB Pocket for emergency/saving for something to buy / hookers and blow carry around money

What's the win for you in using Tyme over the bond?
