Doubt it. Can pay with masterpass https://businesstech.co.za/news/it-...for-groceries-with-your-mobile-at-pick-n-pay/
Sounds a bit complex for me. I am only starting to get the hang of tapping to pay. I dont always trust technology.

Then perhaps a digital bank isn't for you...Sounds a bit complex for me. I am only starting to get the hang of tapping to pay. I dont always trust technology.

Try a high street bank, and oh good luck with their "service".
It's 2020, even my 79 yr old mother pays some of her bills with her banking app.
Just sayin
Try AfricanBank. One account for the whole family.
Anyone know if you can get a second card linked to the same account? I cant find anything on the website.
I am looking for a basic account that my wife and I can use for our monthly grocery budget. Tymebank seems ideal due to the link with smart shopper points but we each need a card.
I was charged R4.00 per R1000 deposit.A few if us were charged for the first deposit in a month.
The reply from Tyme is in my post above

R67000*0.06%/365=R11.0136986 per day. There is something weird happening with the interest on my goalsave. The amount of money I have in there does not add up to the amount of interest I should be earning at this current time. I have R67000 put in on the 1st Nov in a goalsave at 6%, and by this time of the month there is only R88 interest earned on it? If I work out the interest that would be there by the end of the month, it should be around R335 at 6%, yet on current trajectory, after 30% of the month, I would sit at nowhere near that amount come the end of the month.
Unless I am working out the interest calculation incorrectly?
R67000*0.06%/365=R11.0136986 per day.
R11.014 * 8 days past = R88.11
If my calc is correct the R88 is correct.
$1.95 pre-authorization charge hasn't been returned yet since August. Nice. The original $1 has returned but not the one to verify your card.Added it to Paypal and seems they charge a2.75%2% currency conversion fee. Sucks.
EDIT: I see it's 2%.

Doesn't the 1.95 get refunded into your PayPal balance and not the card? I'm sure I've had that happen to one of mine$1.95 pre-authorization charge hasn't been returned yet since August. Nice. The original $1 has returned but not the one to verify your card.
Don't see it on my Paypal.Doesn't the 1.95 get refunded into your PayPal balance and not the card? I'm sure I've had that happen to one of mine
Bought some clothing yesterday although transaction was declined twice. Waited for reversal but after an hour nothing.
As usual shop claimed not their fault, my bank will refund me, blah blah, so having already wasted time I proceeded to pay again after a while and 3rd time was successful.
No refund reflects as yet, although was charged twice.
How long does reversal take? I've had this happen once or twice before but can't recall .. Thought it should happen automatically overnight when systems are synced.
P.s Also sent Tyme an email as well but never had decent response in past using that method. Took over a week last time to respond with the usual default unhelpful reply.
