Hi,

Does anybody know If I can transfer funds from Bitsafe to Tyme Bank?

Alternatively, which bank can I use to do so, beside Tyme Bank?

My problems with tymebank start now. I have incorrect amounts credited to my tymebank account. Doend match incoming efts from other bank

Same but also reversed again now. Was an old eft from last month....

I received credits which were repeats of EFT's from October on both my and my wife's accounts. My wife's has been reversed, mine is still standing. If I knew they were going to do this I would have made the original EFT very much larger. :whistling:
Seriously though: it does worry me that something like this can happen, and places doubts over the reliability of the bank.

We're really sorry
We discovered a small glitch in our systems and EFTs are not processing correctly this morning. We're working fast to fix it, but in the meantime, EFTS to other banks can't be processed. We'll update you when we're back online again.

I will likely be moving to another bank account. Their support changed for being decent to an absolute joke.

They are not refunding reserve card transactions and refer me to the call centre. They refer me to card ops via email and around in circles we go meaning I'm left out of pocket and no one can help. No where for me to go also since they don't have a branch.....

I'm done with them as well. Closing my account in January.

Tell card ops to contact call answerer (get name and surname) and they must work out what the process is and then get back to you with who you need to contact?

Closing it? Do they now do that or is it still it will only be closed if inactive for a year?

I'm still fine with using it for the GoalSaves.
Oh that's right. You can't even close your bank account with this mickey mouse bank. So I guess it will go dormant.

That was always the risk with a wholely digital bank.
Makes mostly sense in the digital world we find ourselves 2020, but then we must never forget that support can never be acceptable when their is no real presence,incl. unattended emails, useless canned responses, 10 day wait times for a canned email reply, no free 0800 support line, etc , etc, etc

It's all great (no monthly charges, less fees, interest rates) until something goes wrong as was my earlier experience with a chargeback.
Then the measure of any organisation is put to the test and on that score Tyme fails with a fat 0.

Also notice how the reps are never here anymore to respond to q's.
Their Twitter is also just a advertising gimmick, all they do is refer you to the 0860 "helpline".

Their customer service was good before the public launch and for a short while after.
that department cannot be called customer service anymore, as they dont provide any service, for proof have a look at the comments on any if their social media posts

Their customer service is working fine for me. Needed a Paypal refund and they did it in less than two weeks. Can't complain at all. Not sure what you are on about?

It's not "free". Other banks pay you interest, they don't.
To have it go dormant I'm throwing darts in the dark here but I assume there should be no money left in the account so not sure what interest they'll make?
