Do they also charge for swiping the card as well (like std bank who charges R65 per swipe plus the conversion fee) or its just the conversion fee only (like capitec is doing)?2% currency conversion fee...
Think it's only the conversion fee. Then again none of us have used it abroad so can't say for sure.Do they also charge for swiping the card as well (like std bank who charges R65 per swipe plus the conversion fee) or its just the conversion fee only (like capitec is doing)?
thanks-I guess will only find out when I cross the border 1day... whenever that will be given the current covid situation.Think it's only the conversion fee. Then again none of us have used it abroad so can't say for sure.
online or physically outside SA borders?I have used it for USD purchase. No swipe fee
USD purchase isn't the same as swiping. Some banks charge extra fees when using it out of country or at ATMs.I have used it for USD purchase. No swipe fee
Don't know. Haven't been outside SA in 21 odd years.Do they also charge for swiping the card as well (like std bank who charges R65 per swipe plus the conversion fee) or its just the conversion fee only (like capitec is doing)?
How do you know the sensor wasn't working? It doesn't merely capture your fingerprint, it compares it to the DHA database, and if not a match it does not update the profile level.@TymeBank Team or @TymeGuy , tried second time as I wanted to capture fingerprints etc. Fingerprint sensor not working in Pnp - Sanridge and Pnp - Midway mews. First time when I visited few months ago, both machines were switched off so it is an improvement of course.
Because nothing was happening on the screen and it kept on giving me prompt of 'please place fingerprint' or some such. And when I checked with PnP customer service, they said others have complained as well and that they will ask the representative to look at it. Basically, one could use kiosk using pin but not if one wants to unlock features as that needs sensor working correctly. How do you know the sensor wasn't working? it looks like tymebank team has given up on myBB. Last time seen on feb 22. TymeGuy not seen since 2018.@TymeBank Team or @TymeGuy , tried second time as I wanted to capture fingerprints etc. Fingerprint sensor not working in Pnp - Sanridge and Pnp - Midway mews. I have a tymebank card that I have been using at PnP but haven't deposited any money into it. To get the savings interest do I need to put in 100k into the account or do I need to put it into a specific account?
I am also looking at African Bank Fixed Deposit. If i deposit 100k into that account for 60 months they have a interest pay out on expiry of 11.11% which is higher than Tymebank. Why are people going with Tymebank over African bank?
