Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

I have a tymebank card that I have been using at PnP but haven't deposited any money into it. To get the savings interest do I need to put in 100k into the account or do I need to put it into a specific account?

I am also looking at African Bank Fixed Deposit. If i deposit 100k into that account for 60 months they have a interest pay out on expiry of 11.11% which is higher than Tymebank. Why are people going with Tymebank over African bank?

2. The new CEO that knew what she was doing quit abruptly.
3. That 11.11% will also be the effective interest rate.
4. Etc. etc.
Wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot barge pole.

They were and still are the best when it comes to interest rates on non-fixed deposit accounts. My emergency fund isn't very useful as an emergency fund if I only have access to it after 5 years lol.

What are you trying to say on point #3? Because effective interest or not they still have the best interest rate on fixed deposits.

One can't put savings, or emergency use savings, into a fixed deposit, one needs more immediate access.

I cannot put my savings for Car Service 2021 and Car Service 2022 into a fixed deposit, Now in May I will access my Car Service 2021 goalsave, use the money for it's purpose and open a new goalsave called Car Service 2024 and then grow that to it's target and then it will grow further from the nice interest rate.

Who has the best interest rate for immediately accessible savings? Tymebank.

Anybody been unable to complete online transactions with their TymeBank card? It keeps declining even though there is sufficient balance and the transaction is far below my account limits. Google can't even verify the card to save the details in chrome for me. In Store purchases work fine.

Some sites still don't work - Google, MRD, Leroy Merlin (so far)

None of my GSs have the Interest earned for the month either. Don't know what you should do, but I'll just wait till they fix the error.

You should be cool about and not cause a scene, your interest will soon reflect.
The interest has in fact been added to your goalsave the problem is that it's not reflected in the usual manner.

They should fix the inconsistency though, they've struggling with this for a while now.

Google can't even confirm my TymeBank card details I saved on my browser. I need to re-enter the card details every time I want to make a purchase and sometimes that doesn't even work. Anybody else experienced this?

Tymebank dude.. Please assist. I told my sister to open an account and the lady who assisted her at the kiosk at the Hyper by the Sea branch selected "no" about linking her smart shopper card. Now she has an unlinked card and wants it linked but they are clueless as to what to do. Please advise.

Haven't received my emailed statement for Mar 2021 yet (usually arrives on the 1st or 2nd of the month). Need it kinda urgently as proof of source of funds...

Tried to request on Internet Banking, no error msg but 2 hours later the email still hasn't arrived.

Call center not very helpful.

"Ok sir we will email you your statement."
"But the problem is that the email never arrives..."
"Sorry sir. Is there anything else I can do to assist? Would you like to rate the call?"



I did receive the emails from noreply [at] TymeDigital.com saying my case has been resolved even though it really hasn't though, weird.
