Think 500k is total limit? Overall on all goal saves.
R100k spread across all Goalsaves, R500k in goalsaves and main account total limit

Nope. Read the FAQ's this afternoon, 100K is max.

And even if you can/could keep excess of 100k in daily account why would you at 0% interest.
Defeats the purpose IMO!

Remember you limited to 100k in all your goalsaves...which is buggerall these days really.
Downer for me,I got a tad more than that I want to get 9% on.....currently on 6.5% at ABSA.

Lol at the sweet irony. Speaking about yourself there because, clearly, you can't read. It's called a GOAL save not a retirement save or life save. R100k will make for a great holiday or a nice downpayment on a car or flat/small house. Excess savings should put in an appropriate savings vehicle anyway.

And as much as I try to stay positive, just stopped for petrol, swiped 600 at shell, declined. Tapped and approved. Checked my account R1200 gone!

The issue was about how much one can save in total nitwit, and that total IS 100k as I stated initially - across all goalsaves( WTF is interested in keeping 900k in a 0% interest bearing account)

Lol keep digging your own hole. I've stated R100k is enough for a proposition called GoalSave(s). Not sure where the R900k comes in? It's R400k...

If it's the same amount in a short timespan then the bank will just refund the double payment.

I can't complain, they do refund within 24 hours. But it's happening toooo often and not auto reversing. It's been better since the system upgrade but now happened again.

I have the decline slip as proof.

Which is cool, I have a Virgin Money CC as well. But in the good few years I have been with Capitec, I've NEVER had 1 glitch. To experience multiple with Tyme in my first few days is unacceptable in my books. And what is even more worrying, is there is no physical point of presence to go to if you have a serious issue like being locked out of your account or something. I mean FFS, just to get my online banking password created, the support crowd from the call centre and Facebook have taken 2 business days and I still don't have feedback. WT actual F!!
Please send us your details, including your Facebook ID, and we'll get on to this as a matter of urgency with feedback today!

I never had any issues personally, I've been using my account daily since the soft launch.

But I just had about 5 declines that were deducted from my account

Did they reverse? Which POS machine did they use?

I'm not sure what machines they were, but they were the older type that doesn't support the tap payments.

How long did your refunds take to come?

Did you have to request it, or was it automatically refunded as @TymeGuy stated?

I scanned the declined documents last night. The refund just came through when I posted. It did not automatically reverse.
