No I have not and will not. This isn't the first of these magic banks with no fees to pop up and they all fail sooner or later.

I have opened an account with Tyme Bank some weeks ago and so far I have been quite happy - there have been no issues with using the service or with using the card. As a result my wife has also opened her account as well.
Just one question: the app is only available on Adroid and not on iOS. When querying this I have been told it is under development, and that I should use browser access in the meantime. This is not convenient when one is out shopping and want to do a quick balance check before using the card to make a payment.
When can we expect the iOS app to be available?

Anyone else seeing "New interest rate" of 0% in their account detail? Also some strange balances.

made a transfer from std bank. effortless. now to get those timers working for when i have money to put in there.:cautious:

Yeah the money account is a GREAT account very reliable backed by bidvest bank but fees are slightly more which is disappointing. If you lose your card over the weekend with Old Mutual no way to get a card. They have even worse banking hours at some branches than banks. With TYME you just go to PnP to print a new card. Tyme gives points. Old Mutual not. Old mutual has fixed R8.50 charges for any amount at any ATM for the first 4 a month. Tyme is R8 per R1000 or part thereof. Tyme no monthly fee old mutual has a R4.50 fee. Old mutal allows online purchases with Visa secure where Tyme does not. Old Mutual allows the card to be used at the toll gates where Tyme does not.

OId mutual allows you to load funds from cc so of you can pay your cc account over the counter loading cash into the old mutual is easy and it's free.

Give or take depending on your needs I suppose.
Hi. Just an update on this. We had a meeting with PASA last week and a deadline has been set for 10th May for all EFT participants and sponsoring banks to update their systems to include TymeBank and others. We hope this finally solves the issue. The TymeBank Team

Just the interest is reflecting @ 0% in one of my GoalSaves. I think @MirageF1 had the limit decrease issue. Will DM you my details

Try updating the app, a new version was released today, mines showing interest rates of my goalsaves correctly.

But now my limits have been reset from @TymeBank @TymeBank_Team @TymeBank 100k to 50k! :rolleyes::mad:
