It's an XP-->Vista transformation pack. Has transparency, and a Mac-like dock (which Vista Transformation Pack doesn't have).

There's a post here about it, along with a few screenshots.

Wanted to know from anybody using it, is it as difficult to uninstall as Vista Transformation Pack is?

wanted: guinea pigs. must be willing to sacrifice xp install.

lol I decided to be my own guinea pig :D It's actually pretty stable, and from the reviews I've read people generally recommend this over Vista Transformation Pack (which is highly unstable).

Inspirat + Glass2k + Topdesk = almost Vista :)

Glass2k allows you to adjust the transparency and Topdesk does the 3D switching between windows when you use alt+tab, very Vista-like.

Not much, around 30MB physical RAM in total (Inspirat + Topdesk, deleted Glass2k because the transparency became annoying). Still runs like XP normally would. And the dock looks really sweet. Plus you can get dock icons off the net if for instance you want to add Firefox or whatever to it.

Visual Task Tips is a nice free addition as well.

This is the new release which supposedly fixes most of the bugs on the old release

I just uninstalled it the other day and put another one, I guess you get tired of anything after a while. But it was a pretty sweet app. The only thing I really didn't like was the running of the docklet, it is really buggy. Rather go for Stardock Object dock.

It completely stuffed up my PC. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...

To get the Vista look, I use a Vista theme that uses XP's built in theme-system. Uses hardly any RAM and works perfectly fine.
