The new Polo is due for release in January, as far as I can ascertain, but it would be best to check with VWSA.

LOL NOPE...I have ben to at least 4 Alfa buys with dad and mates...no issues, you even get champagne and your car is covered in a nice clotch Alfa Romeo cover...

yep, looks like this deal was marred from the get go...well, some other "lady" will now have to go buy that 500 with a scratched seat for probably 50k cheaper as a demo.

Have you thought of takng this to the ombudsman...he can sort them out quickely.

As a matter of interest, this does not happen @ FiatSA ONLY...Mercedes had to replace father in law's front fog lights, ended up replacing the ENTIRE FRONT END!!! YEP you read right...fenders, lights bumer to make matters worse...its still not alighned, imagine a CLS 500 with flippen skew lights, had to take it to a dealer in Bloem to sort out the mess...

I think its the classical case of people who don't know what they doing...they give a bad name to new prospective clients...Adamr one day I hope you'll have the pleasure of driving an Alfa/Fiat...good news though...rear wheel drive platform coming soon...oh, V8 from Turin as well derived from Maserati...oooh

Polos are here...

I think they tried to hide it, they made it look like a Stilo with some plastic cover ups(4 Alfaholic) and then they put a Vauxhaul badge on it!(4 Rouxenator)
:p

Happy to hear it, adamr.

Methinks you should take the weekend to consider your next move... Don't just rush out and buy an Alfa now. :p

Must say, the new Megane coupé is a VERY nice-looking car. Does look quite Scirocco-ish from the back, though. :erm:

Seems to me Fiat has a problem with bad leather upholstery.

There are a few niggles with the 500 though. The one quality fault we've come across so far is the leather coming away from the top of the drivers seat.

More here, on page 2 of 2

At least you've managed to get out of the deal. That hyde park dealership is nuts, I don't even service my cars there. Too expensive and arrogant staff. Was yelling at the guy in the service department like crazy, took 2 months to get a new set of keys.

If you really want the car, have a quick browse through autotrader. One there 6800km for R159,000 I think. Save yourself 50 grand and a lot of hassle.
