Standard HDMI also only goes up to 1200p and not 1440p.

HDMI is a transport medium.. it doesn't care what is being carried across the wires.

As for the OP, my graphics card already supports that resolution. NVIDIA FTW!!!!

I'm running one of those Qnix monitors @ 120Hz. The one with only dual link DVi and i must say it's amazing. No dead pixels and no back light bleed. I'm getting almost 120FPS constant in most games even BF4 ultra settings with post aa off and no ssao

Have the same monitor - absolutely beautiful colours! BF4 looks incredible and at times even a little too rich (blacks are so deep it can be hard to see it darker environments). Running BF4 at 1440p through an MSI R9 280x, full settings except for no MSAA (use post instead), getting about 50-60fps.
