Anyone got any good Photoshop resources for me?

Hey

I'm looking for a nice easy to follow guide for Photoshop CS2 that takes you from being an amateur to a pro. Like teaching about layers and channels and then the more advanced stuff. OK not a real book coz I hate reading real books but maybe like a link to a pdf or even a good site. And please no replies that 'even a book can't turn you into a photoshop pro, only experience can...blah blah'

do a seach for Dummies Guide to Photoshop. I used Dummies guides alot teaches you all the basics and then you just need to get creative.

Also take a look at AbsoluteCross (probably .com but otherwise google it). They have all sortsa tutorials and links to many, many other free tutorial sites.

whats worse than paying 5k for software?
not getting an indepth guide grrrrrrrrrrrrr

dont pay for this guide just more money wasted

they should give it to you for free

Professional guides are usually written by third parties which is why they're generally sold and not given away.

Manuals (printed or electronic) usually accompany the software.
