Anyone has slow speeds and constant DC’s with CISP and Cool Ideas?

Coming to the forums, seeking help cause Cool Ideas have just been doing an absolutely terrible job in helping me.

So over the past month and a half, I’ve been having two issues:

- I get constant disconnects which lasts for about a minute or two, although it happens a lot throughout the day
- I get really slow speeds. On a wired connection I get around 1.2mbps down and 10mbps up, with really high pings (like 60ms on a local server and 10+ms on jitter). I’m on a 20/20 package with them

I’m in the Greenstone Hill area, but like I said. When I call CISP, they say they will escalate the issue and nothing ever happens. I call them again, and they say they escalate - nothing happens.

This has been an ongoing issue for nearly two months, with constant calls for follow ups and no action done. As good as CISP is with their Fibre, their customer service has become atrocious, with a constant blame on TT Connect. Yes, I know they are horrible, but that’s all I got here and the ISP that I actually pay my money to does not want to bother with actually helping, so if anyone else at the forums can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

To be quite honest with you, Your gripe is with TTconnect not CISP. At least you get disconnected for a minute or two there's people who spend the whole weekend without internet on TTconnect. Their network was prematurely deployed without checking/testing the capability and capacity.

That's fair. As I mentioned, I know TT Connect are terrible, but the fact of the matter is, I still have to go through CISP in order to have them come to my place and I get zero feedback from them.

The last bit of feedback I got from them was on 14/05 and that was only because I had to call and ask them. Before that call, the only bit of feedback I got was on 1/05, and that was also because I called... My initial ticket started on the 16/04. My last message that I sent to them was on the 17/05 with speed test results and still got no response yet, meaning I have to call yet again for the feedback. That's ridiculous!

PM PB Cool. He is a member on MBB.....provide your ticket no.

I've spoken to PBCool in the past and he/she does help, but I shouldn't have to message him/her every single time I have an issue. That's what customer support is for!
