Anyone in HOUT BAY with ADSL down?

I have a client out in Hout Bay who's ADSL service has been down since yesterday morning.. Can anyone out there confirm if they're down as well. It looks like the line itself is syncing, and Telkom say its due to "maintenance" in the area (there is a maintenenance ticket for that area, but as usual its for night-time work)

Isn't that what the protest was about the other day?

And in other news, police clashed with protesters objecting to poor ADSL service in the Hout Bay area yesterday. Eye-witnesses say subscribers tried to download torrents while police officers retaliated with stricter shaping policies.

Hout Bay is back up.
It went down at 11am yesterday, came up from 2pm to 5:30PM and then was offline till noon today. Lets hope it stays up this time.

Internet has been down for 2 days now. No sync at all on the router! Does anyone know when this will be resolved?

I know its an old thread, but i would like to announce that there are at least 3 people i know whose internet has gone dead and is still dead today at the same time here in hout bay, strange that mine is still working, maybe its area related. just thought i would let the world know, so its on the record.

Evening HitmanV, I can confirm Telkom ADSL services in the Hout Bay (021 - 790) area will be Inaccessible due to a DSLAM problem.
