Maybe give the Platteland a try, there are some good dealers in Malmesbury and I bought my last car from one in Worcester.

Really?

Drive down Durban Road. Problem solved.
Alright will check that out tomorrow.

Or Voortrekker rd

That road should sort you out...tons & tons of dealers there.

Play the common models of one dealer to the next to try & secure the best deal.
Yup, went down Voortrekker road, went to 3 dealers, they have some nice deals there.

Too far though, would only drive there for a really good deal.

I went to 365auto and Alpen Auto.

Stay away from 365 auto... They were selling a ford ka for R40k that had it's bumper fitted with cable ties. They had a elantra with really really faded paint, looked like someone threw acid on it.

And the i10 I went to look at had a hole the size of a 2l milk bottle in the front bumper - wtf???

Where as Alpen Auto's cars just looked better. They had an Chevrolet Optra for R65k, seemed rather cheap.

Either way, still gonna shop around a lot.

Jeez man...that is ****ty of 365 Auto...selling cars like that.

I've also heard crap about Andre Groenewald Motors in Goodwood as well.

Optra is relatively very keen as there simply very little demand for a very bland car.

But for value for money you score big there; even more so than a Nissa Tiida.

Just don't expect to get a semi with the Optra...

Lols!

Well I guess you can add the Renault Logan to that crew.

Avoid Millstock Motors in Obs. They tried to sell me a rebuild as in perfect condition. Caught them out.

Also avoid a Eugene Wayne from Wayne Motors, he sold me a lemon knowing full well it was, assured me it's in perfect condition, then screwed me around for ages. That's after dealing with him for years and trusting him. Looks like he is now working at Bob-Ric Motors in Koeberg road (http://www.bob-ricmotors.co.za/), so beware of him if you go there.

Ughhh, this is the worst. Well I plan on testing the car fully and even then being picky.

Thanks for the headsup!
