has anyone bought or played NMS since the new "Multiplayer" update?
Its all good and well introducing the update finally to NMS but its implemented terribly from what i have seen.
Multiplayer in the patch notes:
Multiplayer was a much-requested feature after No Man's Sky launched in 2016, and finally you can play with other humans--sort of. You'll be able to see, communicate, and "explore the universe" with up to 16 other players, but they'll be represented simply by glowing orbs, and Hello Games admits that "interaction with others is currently very limited." It sounds like the developer is planning on taking this further, however, as it calls the move "an important first step into the world of synchronous co-op in No Man's Sky.
As you can see the player isn't really a player, its indicated as a Glowing Orb as well as VERY limited interaction.
I saw a video on Youtube of two players finding each other and not really being able to even see each others ships let alone interact in a usable manner like co-op base building.
The only interaction i saw (Although i didnt watch the whole video) was placing a beacon labelling where, when and who met up at that spot.
From what i have seen and read it just seems like they are trying to recover the terrible cluster fluck of lies and deceit when they released the game by just slapping any MP into the game as quickly (albeit a whole year has passed since the release)
So based on this, have u purchased it or previously purchased it and played it and experienced the MP side of it and if you have how was it?
