Hi all, I'm trying to remember a game that was like 10 years back. You could run up the walls and do spins and 360 degree turns, like the matrix, all while shooting your enemy. It wasn't called matrix though. You could use machine guns, swords and even had the one map that looked like matrix lobby.

I have tried google and searched every possible thing but I can't find it. It wasn't called matrix either.

I'd second that, never played Enter the Matrix but has everything you described.

Max Payne is a brilliant game, especially at the time it came out.

Enter the Matrix was very much a Matrix game. Didn’t great great reception at the time but I enjoyed it.

A game similar to what you are describing is Stranglehold. I doubt it's exactly what you are looking for because there's no running on walls but it's a lot of fun. Lots of shooting and the slowmo mechanic makes it fun as hell. Don't go in looking for a great story though.

The max payne recommendation is spot on. Great game that.

Thank you to all those who responded, it was actually called "enter the matrix". Max payne does have very similar game play but that wasn't what I played.

Dude I'm telling you, if you liked that game, you'll love Stranglehold.

Great fighting gameplay in Enter the Matrix. I remember my PC dying as I cranked it up to 1024x768.

"The Matrix - Path of Neo" was much better than "Enter The Matrix" for me personally. In Path of Neo you had swords, guns etc as part of your arsenal. If you haven't played Path of Neo yet, I suggest you look into it :)

Nice concept - very Max Payne-ish, but the gameplay just didn't work properly for me

Ya Max Payne is similar but mechanically different. The more precise well time timed shooting does indeed feel better than Stranglehold's gunplay.
