anyone used the Gevey sim unlock on 8ta with an iphone 4 ?

i have a iphone 4 locked to AT&T
just wondering if anyone has been successful in using the Gevey
on 8ta, i have been successful using it with a vodacom sim, wich makes me think that maybe because 8ta is essentially roaming on mtn that its causing the problem.
another issue (very remote) could be that i have miss cut the sim (to make it a micro sim)

just interested to hear if you anyone has done this, or perhaps if anyone has successfully unlocked an iphone 4 version 4.3.1 on baseband 04.10.01 using some
sort of software.

any advice is welcome.

Same boat here,
ATT locked iphone 4 using Gevey on Voda, have been considering moving to 8ta.

Just to add though I sliced my Voda sim quite badly (straight through the metal corner about 40% of the way and 10% from th edge) and it still works no problem.

hey man I would try the sim in another unlocked iphone 4 ( a buddies or something) to check if it's the SIM. it could very well be that!

Hi, yes I am using the iPhone 4 with a gevey sim and 8ta, you can get a free micro sim from 8ta if you port your number, I have no problems
