Hi guys.

I have a MyChoice 75 contract that I use with my Data Card.

Question:
1. What is the best option to add a bundle on the contract.
2. Can I load a bundle only for one month?

If you are on contract, nope, you can only load 1 bundle per month. If you are on pay-as-you-go , then you can load them as they run out *mutters something about contract ppl getting screwd*

As for the best option , really depends on your usage .. I want a 50 meg bundle lol but next up from 10 meg is 100meg .. which is a little too much for casual N95 browsing :(

So the best option will be, buy a Prepaid sim and load a 1GB or 2GB bundle and use it before the month is over??

Any reason why you using Vodacom Prepaid instead of MTN Prepaid?

I currently have a MTN bundle on my contract, but to many hassles. You can never check how much you have left, its always out-dated, the last time I was charged for bandwidth because their system's were outdated by over 72hours.

Also, try call 808, they're absolutely useless, they have never given me the correct information, and make that my problem.

Not sure if Vodaom's any better, but I know they won't put the phone down in my face when I ask to speak to someone higher up.

Im on MTN and have a MTN 500MB Data bundle.

I am able to check my usage for free on mtnsp.co.za and also buy calling 808. The information is updated regularly enough for me, but Vodacom is faster I believe.

Glad you think so.. another issue is your new bundle doesn't come into effect, say at 00:00 on the 21st... it could come into effect ANYTIME before that on the 20th... like they did to me this month, even after 808 advised otherwise, ad I gave them the reference number to that call, they still hold me responsible.

I called last night to query my reset time for 16202 data balance. It's usually the 11th. It hadn't reset yet -- I was given a pretty honest answer for the first time ever by a lady. She told me that the reset time for me is the 11th ... however the network had "reset but not reallocated" my bundles, were her exact words. I waited till 12pm today for the package to be added. So my account resets on the 11th .. yet I have to wait 24hrs till the 2 gig bundle is added.

Proof that there is something called a PRE-BUNDLE rate (not only out of bundle). It makes perfect sense given all the times I was over billed!

I'm just glad somebody was finally honest enough to explain it.
